For a UK client seeking enhanced mixing performance for a specialized reaction process, we supplied a customized 20L Jacketed Glass Reactor equipped with both conventional PTFE stirring and ultrasonic stirring. While the PTFE stirrer provides reliable mechanical mixing for routine reaction processes, the additional ultrasonic stirring system was integrated according to the customer's specific requirements to improve the dispersion and mixing of materials that may be difficult to process with conventional stirring alone. This combined stirring solution is well suited for applications involving fine powders, solid-liquid dispersion, extraction, and other processes where enhanced mass transfer and more uniform mixing are required.
The system is also equipped with a Vacuum Pump and a Circulating Heater to support different process conditions. The Vacuum Pump can be used for vacuum operation and degassing, while the Circulating Heater supplies controlled heating through the reactor jacket, helping maintain a stable process temperature. By combining conventional mechanical stirring with ultrasonic agitation and the appropriate auxiliary equipment, we were able to provide the French client with a more flexible and application-specific reactor solution.
